For many years it was under the ownership of the Jewell Family. The barn no longer stands, and the house has undergone several renovations and additions through the years to make it the comfortable vacation property that it is today. Standing on Library Trail, walk down the path and over the bridge to the Tyson Library, which has been open since 1887, and is run by the volunteers of the Tyson Ladies Aid. (Hours vary depending on the season.)
Now equipped with every amenity you need to enjoy your time in the Green Mountains. Library Lodge has ample sleeping spaces, with Casper mattresses and pillows on each bed for sleeping up to 10 guests. The mudroom and each bathroom have radiant heated floors. The renovated kitchen comes with any appliance you could need, as well as a large island with seating for the family to gather. In the dining room there is a large dining table with bench seating. Two separate living room areas each contain Roku smart TVs, as well as spacious seating. Outdoors, easily accessed thru the screen porch, there is a hot tub, as well as a Weber grill. There is also a foosball table, a Peloton bike, as well as plenty of books, games and puzzles.
